Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter with a strong experience to join our Non-Conveyor Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in mechanical assembly and sub-assembly within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently and as part of a team to meet production goals and quality standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly of components to precise standards.
  • Read and interpret general assembly drawings, schematics, and interact with 3D models.
  • Use hand and power tools with accuracy and care in line with safety and quality expectations.
  • Assemble components efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues using initiative within defined parameters.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to overcome production challenges.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical fitting or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering or currently working towards completion.
  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly and sub-assembly.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.
  • Confident with the use of hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
