Do you want to work for a successful and rapidly expanding Engineering business?
Prince Personnel are working with a leading global business; our Telford-based client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team. You will be part of the mechanical assembly department, building complex systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings. This role offers the exciting opportunity for international travel to customer sites, which will be well rewarded.
The Mechanical Assembly Technician will be responsible for:
Assembling and building mechanical systems and equipment
Fault finding and diagnosing equipment issues
Installing equipment and systems at customer locations worldwide
Working from detailed engineering and technical drawings
The ideal candidate will have:
Hands-on experience in mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes
Previous experience using a variety of mechanical tools and equipment
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and climbing, in line with health and safety guidelines
Previous experience in a practical / hands on role such as Assembly Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Technician / Installation Technician
