The Role:



We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to join our Greenkeeping team, playing a vital role in ensuring all turf maintenance machinery and equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance, helping to keep our golf course in top condition by supporting the wider greenkeeping operation.



Key duties will include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults across a wide range of greenkeeping equipment. You’ll carry out full servicing, fault finding, welding, soldering, and cylinder grinding, ensuring all machinery meets approved standards and complies with Health and Safety guidelines.



You’ll also maintain detailed records of scheduled and reactive maintenance, prioritise tasks in line with servicing requirements, and occasionally support equipment maintenance at other Club Company sites. Your role is essential in preventing downtime and ensuring the safe operation of all equipment used on the course.



This role typically spans multiple sites, with your time divided between two or more clubs. While you will have a designated primary location, travel to nearby clubs is necessary and will be required at times to meet operational demands.

Experience & Skills Required:




  • Experience in golf course grounds maintenance or greenkeeping is desirable
  • Experience in golf machinery and equipment desirable
  • Secondary school education. 



Schedule:




  • We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300
  • Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays
