The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and light commercial vans, ensuring they remain roadworthy, safe, and compliant with all relevant legislation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work within a fast-paced and supportive environment where quality and reliability are paramount. This role will beTemp to Permfor the right candidate!

Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:30 AM till 5:00 PM

Rate of pay:

  • £14.00-£15.00 per hour
  • Pay based on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs and vans
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Repair or replace defective parts, including brakes, gearboxes, suspension, and steering systems
  • Carry out pre-MOT checks and prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
